Jesus takes the disciples through another miracle of multiplying loaves to feed thousands of people.
Don’t be discouraged if you seem to keep going through the same lesson over and over but with slight variations.
Jesus is simply trying to get us to “the other side.”
Jesus said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with Me three days and have nothing to eat.”
Here is another very real need. If Jesus sent people away, some could faint from hunger.
The disciples “answered Him, ‘how can one satisfy these people with bread here in the wilderness?”
They were making excuses…before meeting the needs in front of them…
“He asked them, How many loaves do you have?”
Jesus comes back with a question to help them think through what potential spiritual solution could be.
Today, let’s think spiritually about the practical needs or issues confronting us. Perhaps you and I keep going through similar lessons over and over simply because we have not learned to see our lives in spiritual terms…”not by might nor by power but by My Spirit says the Lord.”
The end of this story is Jesus feeds folks with seven loaves and some fish and again leaves seven large baskets of leftover fragments.
God has more, more, in store for you. The disciples again were blessed this time with LARGE baskets of leftovers…let God stretch your thinking into the supernatural today…LARGE blessings await you if you will let Jesus be Jesus in your life and mine:)
