Mark 16
Mary and Salome bring spices to anoint Jesus and ask: “who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us.?”
We all need some big stone rolled out of our way. What is yours today?
“But when they looked up the stone had been rolled away.”
God will roll away the stones in your life today…don’t worry, the stones blocking you are moving out of the way right now!
The angel tells the girls to alert the disciples and others that Jesus is going to meet them in the Galilee…as usual the disciples “they did not believe.”
Jesus then “appeared in another form to two of them as they walked (Road to Emmaus), …”but they did not believe them either.”
“Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart.”
Ok, full STOP. Today, let’s believe. Let’s take Jesus at His word. Let’s ask without doubting, let’s believe the best in ourselves and others and let’s walk boldly in RESURRECTION POWER!
Jesus ends with the great commission for us to GO into all the world, (time to take that trip:), preach the gospel…baptize…do signs like casting out demons…speak in new tongues…take up serpents…(walk in zero fear)…drink deadly things…(no sickness has power over you until the Lord takes you home)…lay hands on the sick and they will recover…then Jesus goes to heaven at the right hand of God!
As we finish our time together in Mark, be encouraged that you do have Dunamis (dynamite) power from the Holy Spirit to really change your world. Unleash yourself in grace and humility and don’t doubt. Jesus has just said all these crazy things to you so He will be glorified. It is not about me or you, it is about Him.
Dare for greatness in the Holy Spirit as you simply do the thing the Lord puts in front of you by faith. Remember, He will move the stone, He will give you words to speak, His power will heal you and others, His unction will speak a new tongue through you.
Let’s live and live now in RESURRECTION POWER!!
