Revelation 4
“Before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne , were four living creatures full of eyes in front and back.”
Here we go:
1. The throne is God’s throne…it is set…permanent, unmovable, unflappable and reliable and consistent for you and your life. It represents God’s sovereignty. He has your life well in control!
2. The sea of glass is His Peace. Do you have His peace today? He is available to simply say to the winds and waves in your life…”peace be still.” Will you ask Him? Then, let’s just lay down next to the sea of glass and let God be God in our lives. So much better that way ????????
3. 4 living creatures represent the four Gospels among other things but for us today the eyes everywhere speak of God’s omniscience. He sees everything and can handle all your needs and concerns today.
“Lord, please help each of us simply know your are sovereign, so all my needs and issues are under your control, I am asking for your PEACE, and please keep me alert to all I need to be alert to as your eyes go to and fro across all the earth seeking one, just one person who will be found faithful to the Lord. Please let that person today be me, amen.”
