In Mark 10, Jesus asks Blind Bart “what do you want me to do for you?”
In 2 Chron. 1:7 “That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, ‘Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”
In Mark, the disciples “shusshed “ BART but he threw off his stripped jacket that identified him as blind, provided protection and provision as people knew not to run him over, and to give him grace, BEFORE Jesus healed him. BART knew EXACTLY what he wanted Jesus to do.
He received his healing in spite of disciples selfishly getting in the way and shusshing him away. Jesus saw his need and met him at his faith.
Solomon was also given the same question. He too knew exactly what he would ask God for…WISDOM to lead people and LARGENESS OF HEART to love the people.
What is on your mind and heart today? Jesus has come into your life…today…and…is…aski
As you pray…rest…abide…what is your answer? It could be the very thing you have needed all along to move forward in the ministry, calling, and life God has in store for you now.
