Ocean’s Edge University
Ocean’s Edge University seeks to be a leader in equipping the next generation of Christian leaders to utilize their gifts and talents to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Ocean’s Edge University was founded with a specific purpose to provide training and education for the next generation of worship leaders, Based out of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, we provide an environment combining personal mentoring and discipleship with modern music, technology and leadership training, and practical business and ministry exposure along with biblical knowledge and application in an approach that will equip students for a lifetime in ministry in their chosen vocation. Through development in the core areas of theology, leadership, and discipleship, we develop the next generation of leaders into a practical theologians, help them to strengthen their gifts, mature as a leaders, and grow closer to the Lord. Biblically-grounded courses are taught by seasoned professors, pastors, and guest teachers who give a relevant, fresh perspective of God’s Word, with an emphasis on its relation to every area of life.
Ocean’s Edge School of Worship (OE) is a nationally recognized, award-winning program that has been raising up the next generation of worship leaders, Christian musicians, artists, songwriters, and producers over the past 14 years. With over 350 graduates, our alumni have gone on to serve local churches including Elevation, Life.Church, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, The Belonging Co., Two Rivers Church, Victory Church, LifePoint Church, Pinelake Church, Seacoast Church, Anthem Church, Carolina Forest Community Church, and many more!
Historically, OE has been a one or optional two-year, non-accredited certificate program. In 2019, a partnership with Visible Music College (VMC)was developed to provide bachelor degrees for degree-seeking students. For some courses, Ocean’s Edge University students in the School of Worship will join VMC students via modern technology and have access to professionals in the music and worship industry.
