Joseph Smith
Joseph Smith: Lives on the East Coast in North East Florida with his wife of twenty years and his four children. He knew early in life that his calling was ministry. This calling sent him to Palm Beach Atlantic University where he graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies. Within a month of graduating, he was married and began nineteen years of pastoral ministry at Switzerland Community Church in Jacksonville, Florida. In 2013 he decided to enroll in the Masters of Divinity program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary from which he graduated in 2017. In 2015, while serving at Switzerland Community Church, Joseph joined the ministry of ICS Missions (Indigenous Church Strategies). This ministry focuses on the saturation of the Gospel in Central and South America through the training and equipping of indigenous pastors, planting churches throughout their regions. In February 2022 he stepped down from his position at Switzerland Community Church to focus his time on the work abroad.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, woodworking, mechanics, and pretty much anything outdoors.
