Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools

Calvary Chapel University is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) [15935 Forest Road, Forest, VA 24551; Telephone (434) 525-9539; e-mail: info@tracs.org], having been awarded Accredited Status as a Category III institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on October 26, 2020. This status is effective for a period of five years.

TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (ED), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

AZ PPSE Approval

The Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (www.azppse.gov) granted Calvary Chapel University a Regular Accredited Vocational and Degree License Number AVD 01706 and legally authorized for the period of October 28, 2021 – December 31, 2022.

State Authorizations

State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

In May 2021, CCU was approved to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) by the Arizona SARA Council, which is a member of NC SARA and the state portal entity for Arizona SARA participating institutions (https://azsara.arizona.edu/).

Participation in SARA allows CCU to provide online distance learning in participating SARA states and US Territories. Please visit the NC SARA website for a list of current participating NC SARA states and US Territories (https://www.nc-sara.org/sara-states).

SARA is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs. It is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state or US Territory. Association of Christian Teachers and Schools
ACTS accepts the CCU Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education for certification.  CCU biblical studies and education methods courses are also accepted for certification.

 

 

 

Calvary Chapel Education Association
CCEA is a valued partner. As an exclusive fellowship of Calvary Chapel Fellowships and Christian Schools, CCEA was created to help all Calvary Chapel fellowships with an emphasis on schools. While other education associations concentrate on large schools, CCEA lends a helping hand to the smaller Calvary Chapel Christian schools.

Calvary Chapel Association (CCA)
CCA is the administrative connection point for the Calvary Chapel Movement of churches. It keeps a record of associated Calvary Chapel senior pastors. One of the functions of CCA is to promote official Calvary Chapel regional, national and international events. CCA also serves in various support roles to local Calvary Chapel churches and senior pastors. It is overseen by the Calvary Chapel Association Council, which consists of over 20 seasoned Calvary Chapel senior pastors from around the world.

 

 

 

 

International Association of Biblical Counselors
The Biblical Counseling program at CCU is approved as a certified training center for IABC. The International Association of Biblical Counselors consists of men and women committed to serious reliance on Scripture as sufficient and authoritative, and devoted to helping God’s people apply His truth to their personal lives in practical ways.
