State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement

In May 2021, CCU was approved to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) by the Arizona SARA Council, which is a member of NC SARA and the state portal entity for Arizona SARA participating institutions (https://azsara.arizona.edu/).

Participation in SARA allows CCU to provide online distance learning in participating SARA states and US Territories. Please visit the NC SARA website for a list of current participating NC SARA states and US Territories (https://www.nc-sara.org/sara-states).

SARA is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs. It is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state or US Territory. For more information, please visit the AZ SARA website (http://ncsara.org/).

Calvary Chapel University has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
