Dr. John Milone- or Johnny as he prefers to be called- is a full-time teacher and guidance counselor at Calvary Academy in Lakewood, NJ. Having been homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade, he never envisioned becoming a teacher. He earned two B.A.’s in political science and journalism at Rowan University. However, feeling led by the Lord toward Christian education, he embraced this calling, earning a master’s degree in education followed by a second master’s in his favorite subject—history, both from Liberty University. In 2024, he earned his Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction also from Liberty University.

Johnny married his best friend, Jocelyn, in 2022, and together they share a passion for traveling (they are currently on a mission to visit all 50 states) and ministry. In 2020, they co-founded PoliticsInAction, a ministry designed to teach students aged 8–18 about politics and government from a Christian and constitutional perspective. What began with just six students has grown into a thriving program serving over 125 students. Jocelyn is also an educator and is currently the PreK teacher at the same school as Johnny. They currently live in historic Freehold Township, NJ, and have seven cats and three dogs.
